Math Measurment portfolio post

Description: For maths the teachers gave us a rich task and because we are learning about measurment this term the task that they gave us was about measurment. First we did the rich task with out any workshops about measurment, then we had this rubric on how well we think we did. After we had done the rich task we got given lots of measurment actives about measurment that we did, and we got to book into two workshops about weight area or capacity. After we had done both of our workshops we did the task again to see if we did better than our first go. I had a area and capacity workshop.

Book Buddies portfolio post

Description: In reading this term we have been doing a reading programme called Book Buddies. My Book Buddie is Jayde, I chose her because I thought that we read about the same size books and that we both liked the same genre of books. Our book is called Black Beauty. At the moment we are up to chapter 17.

Feedback/Feedforward: I think you did a good job on explaining what suits you and you guys are reading really well together. Next time you could challenge yourself more by choosing a bigger book.  - Zara

Evaluation: I think that Jayde and I did very well showing evidence of learning and our slide and I think that Jayde and I worked really well together. I think we need to work on reading every night.

Panekiretanga Portfolio post

Description: Through out the school this term our focus has been on Panekiretanga, Panekiretanga means excellence. This slide shows ways you can show excellence. We have been doing Discovery Time every monday and we want to try and show excellence through out that as well. You can show excellence by showing excellence in your learning, showing excellence in the way we think and act and showing excellence in the wasy you treat others.

Feedback/Feedforward: I like how you described in your slide show how to show excellence. Next time you could tell us a bit more about what you do in discovery time.

Evaluation: I think I show excellence very well in class and school. I think I could work on showing excellence in the way I treat others.
